Events within school and trips:

Here are some dates for the diary:

  • 7th December - Entersurpise Day
  • 10th December - Christmas Fair from 2pm to 4pm
  • 14th December - The Navity and the Christmas Concert
  • 19th December - Christmas dinner and Christmas Jumper Day
  • 20th December - Christmas disco for Lower school
  • 21st December - Trophy Assembly
  • 7th January - the start of Spring Term.

 

On Friday 16th November, we are celebrating Children in Need by raising money. The children are able to wear Pudsey ears or crazy socks when you donate £1, also there will be wristbands on sale for £1 and a raffle for a signed football (Gary and Craig Gardner - BCFC players) which will be 50p a go.

Castle Bromwich

At Hickory's Smokehouse, there is going to be a 'Ice Princess Breakfast' on the 2nd December from 9am to 12pm. They will get to meet the frozen sisters for some fun, signings and games. You will have to book a table for breakfast, here is the number to call: 0121 437 0421 to book your table.

Chelmsley Wood

There is going to be a Christmas Lights switch on at Chelmsley Wood Shopping Centre on Saturday 24th November at 12pm. There will be stilt walkers, live music, glitter tattoos, etc.

Water Orton Events

There is a Christmas fair in Water Orton at The Link centre, where you will find stalls, a tombolia, rattle, Santa’s Grotto and some refreshments. This is being held to support Birmingham Children’s Hospital ‘Critical Journey Appeal’. It is going to be held on Saturday 24th November from 10am to 1pm.

Solihull Touchwood Events

  • Over the Christmas period, Santa is going to be in Solihull Shopping centre from 17th November in his grotto up until 24th December. As well as meeting Santa, you also may meet The Stickman from Julia Donaldson story book. There will be a snow pit found in Solihull (Poplar Arcade), where the children will be able to play in fake snow throughout the Christmas period.

  • There is going to be a relaxed performance of 'Sleeping Beauty' at 'The Core Theatre'. This is going to be held on 4th January 2019 at 5:30pm, you have call this number: 0121 704 6962 to book any tickets, as the tickets are not available online for the relaxed performance.

If you are unable to attend without assistance, the Theatre are in partnership with Solihull Carers Centre. Carers cards are issued by them, this entitles the registered carer to a free ticket in order to accompany our audience members to shows and events in the venue. Birmingham Events

  • In Brindley Place they are showing the film 'Elf' (PG film), it is free to watch on the 14th December at 6pm.
  • They are showing Disney’s ‘Frozen’ (PG film) on the 15th December at Brindley Place at 12pm for free, they are also showing ‘Home Alone’ (PG film) at 3pm on 15th December.
  • On the 16th December, Brindley Place are showing ‘The Polar Express’ (U film) at 12pm for free.

They are doing this for Winter Film Festival, it is an out door event.

There is a Treasure Hunt going on in Birmingham, you are able to complete the trail on any day but you will need a trail booklet (you will have to purchase a booklet for £6.99, if you get the booklet on a PDF file then you just pay £6.99). There is a video of what the treasure trail is, it is on for about 1 hour and it is 1.1 miles long.
