ASSISTANT HEAD TEACHER

Forest Oak is a vibrant, inclusive special school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties, aged from 4-18 years. Ofsted (January 2019) judged the school to be Outstanding.  We are Federated with Merstone school, for pupils with SLD, with whom we share a campus. We are a restorative school.

 

The governors are seeking to appoint an Assistant Head Teacher who will play a key role in the continuing development of this outstanding school. Key responsibilities will include leadership of Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and accreditation, together with Behaviour & Attendance throughout the school.

 

We are looking for an Assistant Head Teacher who is:

  • highly motivated with proven ability to lead and inspire others
  • experienced in leading and managing school improvement
  • passionate about enabling pupils to overcome challenges and experience success
  • an exemplary practitioner with SEN mainstream or MLD teaching experience

8.15 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Wed, Thurs, Fri)

8.15 a.m. – 2.30 p.m. (Mon)

8.15 a.m. – 2.15 p.m. (Tues)
