JUNIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM

2018-2019 saw the first ever Forest Oak School election for the Junior Leadership Team. Nine brave Year 10 and 11 students put themselves forward to be Head Boy or Head Girl. The whole school were able to vote and competition was tense.

A huge well done and congratulations to these pupils and a big thank you to everyone who took part in the election or voted. All pupils who put themselves forward have been awarded a prefect role. Congratulations to:

Ashley Eccleston, Anthony McVicker, Daniel Holland, Terri Purslow, Cameron Kyffin, Brandon Drinkall, Jordan-Lee Wright and Kaine Lloyd.

We are looking forward to seeing all these pupils take a positive, responsible leadership role in school and are delighted so many pupils are keen to contribute to Forest Oak pupil voice through the JLT, prefects, School Council and class check ins.

FOREST OAK STAFF

MEDIATORS

Over the last three weeks, two representatives from each class have had training with Miss Jerrard to become Playground Friends or Restorative Practice Mediators.

The pupils have been chosen by their classes to support others at play and lunchtimes; students who may need help sorting out a disagreement with friends or just need someone to take to and play with. They will be under the direction of staff and are easily identifiable by a Playground Friend or Mediator badge. We wish them all well in their new role and thank them for their kindness!
