Hello All,
Seeing as you're all at home at the moment, here are some ideas:
English: Write a sensory description of your garden (or any outdoor space that you know well) from the point of view of an insect.
Maths: Use some old plastic containers to make a window box and plant some seeds in it. Measure the heights of the plants as they grow and draw a graph and scale drawing to represent the plants.

https://www.kidsmathgamesonline.com/ - includes maths games, interesting facts, printable worksheets, quizzes, videos and so much more on a variety of topics including division, counting, money etc.
Science: Create a food web poster for an outdoor habitat such as the garden, a forest, the beach, or a desert. Explain what each organism eats and how energy is transferred through the food web.
I hope you are all well..... If you have any questions then please send me an email and I will try and help you the best I can during this difficult time.

Functional Skills Resources:
https://www.skillsworkshop.org/
This is an excellent resource that I have used throughout the year for the pupils in KS4.
- Select a subject at the top.
- Click on E2-3 at the left-hand side bar (level)
On the main wall will then be a selection of resources that you can use with your child.
Cheers,
Mr C
