Our Class Dojo

Hi 9H you will probably have received invitations to our class Dojo by now via email. It is important that you accept this, as our communication and some of the work set can be done using this platform.

Many thanks for your support.

Stay safe,

Mrs Harper

Hi 9H,

We hope you are all keeping safe and well at home.

To ensure your learning continues, Mrs Jacques and myself put together a home learning folder for each of you. This is designed to work alongside ASDAN, Entry level and Ascentis (which ever you are working towards). Also, there are several web links below to support you while you are at home, which includes: Mathletics ( a great programme we use in school to support our numeracy) and our touch typing programme (which we have used in ICT).

I will also be adding some activities on here and onto our class Dojo page over the coming weeks, hopefully making learning at home easier!

Stay safe!

From Mrs Harper, Mrs Ensor and Mrs Jacques

Keep safe, and hope to see you all soon!

9H are proud of Harry Stretch!

Harry has been working very hard in English and has written a fantastic poem called "The Soldiers beat to the drum". Harry shared his poem with the class.

Keep up the hard work Harry!

9H Fundraising

9H have been busy this term and working hard on their Asdan Bronze qualification. 9H gained 2 credits fundraising for a local charity called "Solo".

The students collected unwanted toys and bric a brac and created a stall outside the classroom. They had a Halloween cake sale and raffled a fairy kindly donated by Mrs Ensor.

Kat O'Donovan, a Project Manager from Solo, came in to school in September and she explained what Solo do and how donations would be spent at Solo.

All the students gave a 100% on this project and staff are extremely proud of all of them.

Kat returned to see 9H in November to collect a whopping £200.00

Well done 9H

Festival of Football
On Monday 14th October 9H took part in a Festival of Football at Villa Park. The festival is funded by The Rotary Club and is for footballers with Special Needs. Brody and Preston were team captains and showed amazing leadership skills.  All of 9H were fantastic and were great team players.
