Communication Support Worker – Pupil Specific

2 Year Fixed Contract (Required as soon as possible)

Solihull C Band: £22,777 - £25,409 (pro rata)

Actual Salary £17,151.08 - £19,132.97

Term time only (39 weeks), 5 days per week – 32.5 hours each week

We would consider request for part time hours.


Description of post:  

Required as soon as possible an BSL Level 3 trained worker to work with a pupil in Year 7, Key Stage 3.

BSL Level 3 trained – may consider BSL Level 2 trained.

Good communication skills both written and verbal

Work well as part of a team

NNEB/NVQ Level 3/BTEC or other relevant childcare qualification

High level of literacy and numeracy – GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent)

Experience working with children

SEN experience and positive behaviour management expertise.
