Part time Business Manager – Forest Oak School & Merstone School

Salary  Band E Points 27-33

£30,507-£35,934 pro rata for part time
Incremental progression is dependent on performance

About The Role

A suitably qualified and experienced Business Manager to work in our outstanding Special Schools for pupils with moderate/ severe learning difficulties. Candidates should have:

 

  • a good standard of literacy and numeracy
  • excellent IT, organisational and communication skills
  • experience in all aspects of budget management and organisation
  • experience in Human Resource management
  • the ability to lead a team, work within a team, be flexible and able to work under pressure

ASSISTANT SITE MANAGER

 

Band B: £18,065 - £18,795  (Full time – 37 hours per week)

 

Required as soon as possible

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager to make their mark at these two special schools which share a building.  The Assistant Site Manager will work as part of a site team and undertake building and maintenance, caretaking and cleaning duties.  A caring attitude towards children and the ability to deal with contracted services is essential.  You will be required to live within reasonable travelling distance, as no site accommodation is available

 

The salary will depend upon experience. The post entails working Monday to Friday split shift pattern: 6 a.m. – 10.00am and 2.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m (6.p.m. on Friday). Occasional weekend lettings paid as overtime.

Lunchtime Supervisor Post

 

Hours: 5 hours 50 minutes per week: 12.50 pm – 2.00 pm

 

Band A                                               

Salary: £17364 - £18,065 pro rata for term time and part time hours

Actual Salary - £2,272 - £2,363

 

Required as soon as possible.

Lunchtime supervisor to help support our children to have a happy lunchtime.

 

Forest Oak School is:

  • for pupils with MLD, aged 4-18 years
  • an outstanding school (Ofsted 2011, 2014 & 2019)

 

Applicants will need to

  • enjoy working with children
  • be flexible
  • have a sense of humour
  • be firm, fair and friendly
  • work as part of a team
  • be willing to undertake first aid training

 

Some previous experience of working with children is desirable but not essential.
