This Friday (8th May) marks the anniversary of VE (Victory in Europe) day.
In 1945, it was a day to celebrate and there were lots of street parties and
parades in Europe and America because the Nazis had surrendered and it was
the end of WW2 in Europe.
As this year marks the 75th Anniversary of VE day the decision was made to
change the early bank holiday to Friday instead of Monday.
Clink on the links below for some activities linked to VE day which are similar to what we would do English, mindful time or history lessons.
